Green Key is an eco-label awarded to over 1500 establishments in 28 countries worldwide
Green Key is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent Programme. It is recognised and supported by the World Tourism Organization and UNEP.
Green Key is presently the largest global eco-label for accommodation and has a national administration centre in each participating country. In our country as national operator is Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature.
Getting awarded with Green Key means that an establishment has fulfilled a list of requirements.

Nana Beach is been awarded since 2009
The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label awarded to approximately 3650 beaches and marinas in 46 countries.
The Blue Flag works towards sustainable development of beaches and marinas through strict criteria dealing with Water Quality, Environmental Education and Information, Environmental Management, and Safety and Other Services.
Nana Beach Hotel has been awarded the last 12 years.
Travelife has hotel and apartment members around the world.
It helps its members to develop good sustainable practices and to
promote their achievements within the travel industry and to European and international consumers.
Travelife is one of the few schemes to value social policy as highly as environmental management.
Following an independent audit against the Travelife Sustainability Criteria, Nana Beach, achieved a Gold Travelife Award.
The hotel has also been awarded the environmental award of TUI.
